April is Autism Awareness Month!

April is Autism Awareness Month! Show your support and light it up blue at night -- this may require a trip to a big box store (Target, Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) to purchase a blue light. Take said light and place in a light fixture that can be seen from the street. Show your support by joining Lightitupblue.org where you can donate, raise money and help raise awareness for the cause.

I actually learned about this cause last year when a friend of mine thought her daughter might be autistic. She asked that all of her friends and family participate in this awareness program.
