Museum Day Live! is sponsored by Smithsonian Magazine. This is an annual event in the spirit of Smithsonian Museums, (who offer free admission everyday) in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket… for free..

But you must download tickets to get the FREE Admission to Museum Live! 

• Only an official Museum Day Live! ticket is eligible for free entry. Official tickets can be found on the Museum Day Live! website
• One ticket per household, for two people.
• A ticket will gain entry to only one of the participating museums, excluding parking and special events and exhibits.
• If museum reaches capacity, museum has the right to limit the number of guests until space becomes available.

• Offer is valid only on Saturday, September 28, 2013. (Exceptions for Museum Day Live! museums closed on Saturdays).
• Card must be presented for free general admission to one venue and is good for two people. *Not valid for special exhibits, parking, IMAX film screenings or for use with any other offers.
• One Museum Day Live! ticket per household, per valid email address. Museum Day Live! Ticket will be collected upon entry.
• Museums that are willing to accept the ticket on the screen of a smartphone will have that fact on their Museum page. Visit the Find a Museum page to locate the participating museum you choose and confirm
