Schick Hydro Silk Razor

A Couple of weeks ago there was a high-value coupon offered on the internetz for Schick Hydro Silk razors. My husband and I were very excited to be able to print these coupons because we love our little stockpile of razors -- we hate buying them full price! Anyways, when we tried to go and print from the desktop it came up as an error (way to go SmartSource) and refused to print. I followed the directions on how to contact Smart Source if something like this occurred. SmartSource was helpfully unhelpful. They pretty much said there is nothing that they can do and it sucks but they can't reset or mail them -- because of fraud potential? Yeah, it seemed like a load of bull to me (um, hello! Bricks coupons does it!). We were pretty upset that we had to miss out on this great coupon because either our printer had an issue printing or SmartSource had an issue printing -- not sure. I just know when I tried to print it, it said "cannot print, already printed". Don't you just hate when you get that message (and you haven't even printed that darn coupon yet!). We know we weren't the only ones having issues because I believe we saw on their facebook that other people were getting the same errors and not receiving their coupons.

Today in my email I received this message from Schick:

We apologize for the problems you have encountered on our website and appreciate your patience while we fix things. As a thank you for being so patient, we will be sending you a FREE sample en lieu of a coupon, for our new Schick Hydro Silk razor! This will make you one of the first to try it before it hits stores on January 23rd.
You will receive your free razor within 14 business days. Please excuse the shipping delay due to the holidays.

Though I wish that Schick would use bricks coupons for its online printables, I am excited that they are doing something to right the wrong of that whole printing non-printing coupon fiasco. It makes me have faith in this company once again. We would have just settled with a coupon but a free razor sweet too (Christmas after Christmas!). I may be out of town when it arrives but it will still be a special treat when I come home!
